This super-light shawl is very warm and cozy.

It has a very simple construction and offers a meditative knitting experience, perfect for long evenings in front of the fireplace.

You knit your Winter Tales Blanket Shawl seamlessly from one end to the other using Plötulopi by Lopi Island yarn. This original wool straight from Iceland is extremely lightweight and rustic. It takes some practice to work with because the unspun yarn is very fragile. In return, your knitted piece will be all the more beautiful, incredibly light, and fluffy. 

With wear, Plötulopi becomes increasingly soft and drapey. The pure Icelandic wool has wonderful temperature-regulating properties.
