Rabea's story: From the first cast-on to a passion
Since I was six years old, there has hardly been a time in my life without knitting needles. As an architect, I am fascinated by materials, colors, shapes, and beautiful details. As a knitter, I find all of this again - with the wonderful difference that ideas ultimately become something you can wear emerges.

Today, we run Gute Garne as a married couple and founding duo. We share all decisions and we pour our shared time, expertise, and passion into the shop. Together, we search worldwide for exceptional yarns and discover brands you won't finds everywhere.
Our aim is to pair these special qualities with beautiful, handpicked designs to bring together. Alongside exclusive knitting ideas, we also develop our own, individual designs.
