Description

Tussah Tweed by BC Garn is a unique silk yarn with tweed inclusions that is unique.

It is made of 100% wild silk and is spun in Italy.

The yarn is intensely dyed - the color combinations are extraordinary and even stronger in real life. A lot of dye is needed to dye silk in these deep colors. It is possible that the knitted item will bleed a little when washed for the first time or that some of the color will rub off when worn. We recommend rinsing it in cold water before wearing it for the first time.

Before the first wash and wear, Tussah Tweed feels a little dull and hard, but this goes away after the first wash.
Then the yarn is pleasantly soft and has a fine shine.

Tussah Tweed now comes finely spooled on practical cones, so you can get started right away!
