Yarn kit for the Sonja Sweater by PetiteKnit.

Do you sometimes feel like wearing a simply beautiful sweater? The Sonja Sweater is so effortlessly elegant and comfortable that you will never want to take it off! It is also particularly easy to knit, making for a relaxing knitting experience!

Knit the Sonja Sweater in stockinette stitch from the top down in the round, so it does not need to be sewn together. It is made with Peer Gynt held together with Alpakka Følgetråd, making it both wonderfully durable and soft.

Remember to always knit a gauge swatch first.

Size guide

The Sonja Sweater is designed to have approximately 30 cm of positive ease in the smaller sizes and gradually less ease in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) fit a body chest circumference of 75–80 (80–85) 85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100–110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm. The finished sweater measurements can be found on the cover page. Note: These measurements only apply if the gauge is correct. First, measure yourself before starting the actual knitting to determine which size fits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A size S sweater has a chest circumference of 120 cm and would therefore have 30 cm of positive ease in this case.
