Yarn kit for the September Sweater by PetiteKnit.

This cozy, beautifully voluminous sweater is knitted in the brioche stitch from the top down in the round. It is wonderfully cozy yet durable thanks to the lovely combination of Peer Gynt and Tynn Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn.

The yarn becomes softer and softer with wear. Even if you find Peer Gynt too bulky, you will love it in combination with Tynn Silk Mohair! You should definitely give it a try!

The sweater is not too long and has a comfortably relaxed fit, making it perfect to throw on anytime. 

Size guide

The September Sweater should have approximately 15 cm of positive ease in relation to your bust circumference. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a body bust circumference of 80–85 (85–90) 90–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 (130–140) 140–150 cm. The finished sweater measurements can be found on the front of the instructions. Measure yourself first before you start knitting to make sure you have chosen the correct size for you. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 97 cm, you should choose size L. A size L sweater has a bust circumference of 113 cm and would therefore have 16 cm of positive ease in this case.

The model shown is wearing size XS and has a bust circumference of 82 cm and a height of 1.64 m.

Keep in mind that the brioche stitch will stretch slightly after washing and with wear. You can therefore assume that your September Sweater will grow by approximately 5–8 cm in relation to the bust circumference stated on the front of these instructions. 

Remember to always knit a gauge swatch first.
