4.0 mm circular needle (40 cm, 60 cm, and 80 to 100 cm)
3.0 mm or 3.5 mm circular needle (40 cm)
if necessary, 3.0 mm or 3.5 mm double-pointed needles

Gauge
19 sts x 27 rows in stockinette stitch with 4.0 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm, measured after washing.
