The classic Palma Top has a wonderful textured pattern that looks great and is not too difficult to knit.

The body of the top is wider at the bottom and gradually reduces towards the armholes through clever decreases. Once the top is split in the middle of the front, it is continued to be knitted in rows, while the shoulder straps are joined at the end with the slip stitch.

The Palma Top is designed so that the circumference is slightly smaller than your actual chest circumference (negative ease).

The Palma Top is knitted with the light and airy Cotton Merino from Knitting for Olive as an alternative to Pure Silk. This makes it lighter and airy.
