Yarn kit for the Novice Sweater in the Mayflower Denmark Edition by PetiteKnit.

The Novice Sweater is knitted from the top down. This means that you start with the neckline, then knit the yoke, followed by the body and finally the sleeves. The sweater is worked in stockinette stitch, while the edges are knitted in ribbing.

This simple sweater is a wonderful project for every beginner! For experienced knitters, it is a pleasantly relaxing knit. The fit is casual and classic, so your Novice Sweater will be a long-term favorite!

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a chest circumference of approx. 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The Novice Sweater should have a positive ease of 5–10 cm. This means that if, for example, you measure a chest circumference of 90 cm (measure yourself with a tape measure), you should knit a size S, which has a chest circumference of 98 cm.
