Yarn kit for the PetiteKnit Novice Slipover with Double Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair by Sandnes Garn.

The PetiteKnit Novice Slipover is a very simple, easy-to-knit sleeveless sweater. 

The pattern is perfect for beginners. You knit in stockinette stitch from the top down. 

The back is knitted first, then stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge to shape the shoulders, which are subsequently joined at the front in the round, forming the front.

The front and back are joined below the armholes to form the body, which is knitted in the round on a circular needle. Stitches are picked up around the neckline and armholes for the ribbed trims.

Size guide

The Novice Slipover should have approximately 17 cm of positive ease in relation to your chest circumference.

The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a body chest circumference of 80–85 (85–90) 90–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 (130–140) 140–150 cm.

First, take your own measurements before beginning the actual knitting to determine which size fits you best.

If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S, as it has a bust circumference of 107 cm.
In this case, the slipover would have 17 cm of positive ease.
