Description

Novita Nalle is a true classic from the Finnish manufacturer Novita’s range. It is a real all-rounder: medium-weight, soft, and durable.

The classic blend of 75% wool and 25% polyamide is also hard-wearing. 
The yarn is therefore also excellent for socks and is machine washable at 40°C. 

One 100 g skein is enough for a pair of medium-sized socks. If you like knitting longer socks or need a larger size, we recommend buying 2 skeins.

In terms of weight, with a yardage of approx. 260 m, Nalle is roughly equivalent to a 6-ply sock yarn, but it is technically still a 4-ply yarn (so it consists of 4 twisted strands). 

That’s why we’re cheekily classifying it among the 6-ply yarns.

Nalle is also great for sturdy garments such as children's sweaters or cardigans!

"Nalle" is Finnish for "teddy", so like its cuddly friend, Nalle is soft and always there for you!
