Hemline sewing machine needles

Each set contains 6 medium sewing machine needles. The needles fit all modern sewing machines. 

The needles are suitable for the following purposes:

  • Universal fine: versatile universal needle with a slightly rounded ballpoint, for various fabrics, size 60/8
  • Universal medium: versatile universal needle with a slightly rounded ballpoint, for various fabrics, size 80/12
  • Universal heavy: versatile universal needle with a slightly rounded ballpoint, for various fabrics, size 100/16
  • Jeans / Denim: for denim fabrics, with an especially sharp and strong point for tightly woven fabrics, size 90/14
  • Stretch: for elastic fabrics; the needle’s special scarf prevents skipped stitches, size 75/11
  • Ballpoint: for elastic fabrics; the needle’s ballpoint gently separates the fibers without excessive perforation, size 80/12
  • Quilting: for straight stitches through multiple layers of fabric and batting; the tapered needle point is gentle on the fabric, size 80/12
  • Metallic: ensures smooth flow of metallic threads; specially coated with a large eye, size 80/12
  • Sharp / Microtex: for tightly woven fabrics such as silk or faux leather, with a sharp needle point for perfect seams, size 80/12
  • Leather: for leather, with a cutting point, size 3 x 90/14 and 3 x 100/16
