Size Guide

The Ida Tee Junior should have approximately 9 cm of ease (positive ease) in relation to the chest circumference. Sizes 1–2 (2–3) 3–4 (4–5) 5–6 (6–7) 7–8 (8–9) 9–10 (10–12) years correspond to a body chest circumference of approximately 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (78) cm. The measurements of the finished shirt can be found on the cover page (please note that these measurements are only valid if the gauge is correct). If you/the recipient has a chest circumference of 62 cm, you should choose size 6–7 years. A shirt in size 6–7 years has a chest circumference of 71 cm and would therefore have 9 cm of ease (positive ease) in this case. If the measured chest circumference differs from the age indication, you should adjust the length to fit the person who will wear the garment. The same applies if the child is smaller or larger than average.
