You knit the Holger Sweater seamlessly from the top down, and in the round from the armholes, using the wonderfully soft and super-stretchy Sunday yarn by Sandnes Garn. The radiant, beautiful summer colors are brand new.
Stripes are very motivating to knit, helping you make quick progress while the cheerful colors create a wonderful knitting experience.
Size guide
The Holger Sweater should have approximately 12 cm of ease (positive ease) around the chest. Sizes 1–2 (2–3) 3–4 (4–5) 5–6 (6–7) 7–8 (8–9) 9–10 (10–11) 11–12 (12–14) years are designed to fit a body chest circumference of 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (75) 78 (82) cm. The finished garment measurements can be found on the front page of the pattern (please note that these measurements only apply if the gauge is maintained). If you or the recipient has a chest circumference of 62 cm, for example, you should choose size 6–7 years. A blouse in size 6–7 years has a chest circumference of 74 cm and would therefore have 12 cm of ease (positive ease) in this case. If the measured chest circumference differs from the recommended age range, you should adjust the length to suit the person you are knitting for. The same applies if the child is smaller or larger than average.
