Yarn kit for the Friday Tee by PetiteKnit in Sunday by Sandnes Garn.

The Friday Tee is knitted from the top down in broken rib stitch with raglan increases.

The neckline is worked in rib stitch and knitted onto the inside. Short rows are used to shape the neckline. The sleeves and body are finished with ribbed cuffs.

Wash the gauge swatch before measuring it—the broken rib stitch grows during washing.

Size guide

The Friday Tee should have approximately 6–9 cm of ease (positive ease) relative to your bust circumference.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a body bust circumference of 80–85 (85–90) 90–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 (130–140) 140–150 cm.

The finished measurements of the top are shown on the front. First, take your own measurements before you start knitting to make sure you have chosen the correct size for you.

If your bust circumference measures, for example, 90 cm (or the widest point of your torso), you should choose size S. A size S top has a bust circumference of 96 cm and, in this example, would have 6 cm of ease (positive ease).

The pictured model is wearing size XS and has a bust circumference of 82 cm and is 164 cm tall.
