Yarn kit for the Friday Slipover by PetiteKnit with Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair by Sandnes Garn.

You knit from top to bottom in a broken rib pattern. This classic pullover is great for wearing over a dress or shirt!

First the back is made, then the shoulders and front, and finally the torso. Cuffs are knitted along the neckline and around the armholes.

Knit a gauge sample first before you start knitting. Note that the broken rib pattern will stretch when washed/worn. Therefore, you should expect the gauge to be around 24-25 sts per 10 cm before washing/wearing, but 22 sts per 10 cm after washing/wearing.

It is extremely important to maintain the exact gauge for the shoulder width and fit. Therefore, wash your gauge before measuring.

size guide

The Friday pullover should have a range of motion ( positive ease) of approx. 6 cm in relation to your chest circumference.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a chest circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-50 cm.

Take your own measurements before you start knitting to make sure you have chosen the correct size for you.

For example, if your chest circumference measures 90 cm (or the widest part of your torso), you should choose size S, as the chest circumference is 96 cm.
