Instructions (PDF) for the Holly Sweater from Knitting for Olive.

The Holly Sweater is a contemporary take on the classic Christmas sweater, decorated with a pretty Christmas thorn wreath on the round yoke.

The sweater is knitted top down and has a round yoke. The leaves and berries of the wreath are knitted using the Fair Isle method according to the diagram, which gives the sweater a charming and detailed look.

For a comfortable fit and an attractive design, short rows (German Short Rows) are used at the neckline and under the armholes.

The sweater is elegantly rounded off by ribbed cuffs, which ensures both a nice finish and a good fit.
