What can I find in the Models and Sets category?

In our category of models and sets, we have gathered together various sets and yarn packages for you for current and beautiful designs. You can either display themes or search specifically for designers. Of course, you can also filter by who will wear the piece and by materials or by type of finished garment or simply by yarn manufacturer.

What is special about the models and sets?

We love the diversity and especially the many independent knitwear owners! It is our heartfelt wish to convey this diversity and give you great inspiration. 

Is the instruction manual included in the set?

We have very different sets and yarn packages. 

For some yarn packages, you can get the instructions directly from the designer or from Ravelry via a link. 

We can provide you with some free instructions for direct download, here you will also get a link. 

In some cases there is a booklet or a printed individual instruction manual; in these cases you can usually order the booklet or the instructions optionally.

In the sets with individual instructions from Sandnes we have the most complete ones in which the instructions are included in printed form.

Since we cannot sell all the instructions, as it is the designers themselves who offer their instructions, there are different ways to get the instructions. However, if we cannot sell the instructions, we always have a link "To the instructions" in the article through which you can get the instructions!

The following sets are distinguished:

• Sets with free instructions for download : here you can download the instructions (also in advance) via the link “Free instructions”
• Sets with free instructions : here you will receive an email after purchase containing a link to download the instructions
• Sets with individual instructions PDF or printed instructions / booklets from our range: you can buy the instructions
• Sets with individual instructions from designers: you can use the link to go to the designer page or the Ravelry page and buy the instructions there
• Sets with individual instructions Sandnes (from collection 2403): the instructions are printed as individual instructions included in the set, as stated in the description

Why aren't instructions always included in the set?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer all instructions. This is because some instructions are only sold as PDFs, which can only be purchased directly from the designer. 

If you have collected instructions and booklets, you can add the booklet, as there may of course be a case where you already have the booklet and don't need another one. 

For the individual instructions from Sandnes, which cannot be sold without yarn, we have the instructions and the yarn together as a set for you in our program.

Why is diversity so important?

It is particularly important to us to celebrate the diversity of knitting patterns! We would like to support independent designers and at the same time we are big fans of the knitting scene, where it is not just the big, powerful brands that determine what you knit. We love knitting pieces from small labels and designs ourselves, as they look particularly individual and great and are also super modern and up-to-date. 

Can I knit the set in a different color?

We try to offer you many colors. At the same time, we think it's great if you want to choose your very own color! Of course you are very welcome to do that! The data and facts for the yarn packages contain all the necessary information. It says exactly which yarns you need for which sizes, here you can see exactly what you need and then put the yarns in your desired colors in your shopping cart!

Which designers have yarn packages in the shop?

We always choose the most beautiful designs for you and have lots of different designer sets in the shop. Of course, we always ask the designers in advance whether they agree if we create a yarn package and use the photos. But this suggestion is usually met with great enthusiasm! The labels are happy about the yarn packages and the support and love it when you knit their designs!

That's why it's especially nice if you get in touch and link photos of the finished knitted pieces or write reviews, and of course we and the designers are always particularly happy to receive reports on Instagram too.

I can't find a set for a desired design on offer, what can I do?

Of course you can write to us at any time, if we can make it possible, we will ask the designer and will be happy to create a set for you. It may take a few days, but then we may be able to offer you a set of your dreams!

If that's not fast enough for you and you just can't wait, you can also buy the yarns individually!

Why are there several sets for some knitted items?

Some particularly popular knitted and crocheted items come in several sets, because they can be made with different yarns. We always stick to the given specifications, but sometimes we try out alternatives and then offer them to you. The description of the set always states exactly which yarns are included.
